Msheireb Downtown Doha

Rooted in the past while looking to the future, the project has revived the old commercial district of Doha with contemporary design inspired by traditional Qatari heritage. Burton Studio authored the site design for the entire public realm and maintained involvement from conceptual design through construction administration over the course of more than a decade. The end result is a shining example of Qatar’s determination to renew this important cultural center and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
